When it comes to my specific field of study, for physical therapy personally, it’s important to know the nature and style of writing associated with it. To do this assignment you have to interview someone of a higher position in your field of study. You’re going to focus on both academic and non-academic writings. Once you’re finished you’ll have a better understanding on how to write in a more efficient way for your field of study. When asking questions make sure to ask questions that help you get a better understanding of why they write in the style/genre that they do. Make note of the different characteristics of the writing as well as well as different rhetorical elements. After collecting this information you’ll have to write a report that’s approximately five pages long. You’ll need to convey your understanding to a younger crowd that are interested in the same field of study.
